We truly lived up to its name — it was a Habba in every sense for the BJC members, as we came together to celebrate our 8th Anniversary at Habba Dates Villa.
The day began on a perfect note with Jeeps arriving right on time, welcomed and guided by fellow Jeepers into strategically planned parking. This ensured a smooth setup for the much-anticipated snake crawl convoy drive.

Sporting what was undoubtedly one of the most attractive badges ever designed for BJC, Jeepers mingled and got introduced to one another and settled in for a quick briefing outlining the day’s plan.

A sumptuous lunch followed, featuring lip-smacking dishes accompanied by lively conversations among like-minded friends.
With appetites satisfied, the real Habba kicked off. Guided meticulously, the convoy rolled out, creating a spectacular sight as a giant snake of Jeeps weaved its way through the dates farm.
The convoy then crawled onto the state highway and continued through narrow village roads, eventually reaching a mini off-road location. What may have been an ordinary day for the villagers turned into a visual treat as they witnessed this massive convoy pass through their locality, greeting us with cheerful smiles and curious eyes.

The mini off-road trail proved thrilling for first-timers and equally enjoyable for our seasoned legends. Tackling rocky terrain brought out the true spirit of Jeeping.

Adding to the uniqueness was the “ice-breaker over the rocks” — a brilliant BJC innovation that turned sunset into an unforgettable experience. With the sun dipping low, the golden hour offered the perfect backdrop. Professional photographers captured hundreds of memorable moments as Jeepers soaked in the cool breeze and camaraderie.
Some activities were so engaging that we happily ran behind schedule. The climb back tested the grit of the 4x2s, but the beasts refused to give up. With precise guidance from our spotters, every Jeep conquered the obstacle successfully — a true testament to teamwork.

Back at the nest, Jeepers were welcomed with high tea and delicious samosas and pakoras. After a quick freshen up, everyone gathered around a beautifully set stage as DJ beats filled the air, setting the mood for the anniversary cake cutting. 8 years. Countless trails. One family. Bangalore Jeep Club.

A uniquely designed treasure hunt followed, keeping teams engaged, running around and scratching their heads to decode clever clues. Meanwhile, the BJC bar opened its doors — liquor flowing on the house for 90 minutes, complemented by an array of exotic cocktails.
Dance, laughter and celebration continued as Jeepers waited for dinner. Post dinner, many bid farewell for the day, while the after party carried on strong until 2 AM for those who stayed back.

The next morning was relaxed and easygoing. Over a quick breakfast, Jeepers exchanged goodbyes before heading home. As always, the core team stayed back, winding up flags and event setups, reminiscing about the wonderful moments and already planning future drives.
Happy Jeeping until we meet again.
