    Hi everyone,

I face a problem, when waiting for long period at traffic lights or at parking lot. If I want to cut off the engine, only way is to use on/off switch. But this also results in switching off all electronics including music system. That means one has to again switch on the vehicle, resulting in interruption to listening pleasure.

Is there any alternative to cut off engine,  without switching off vehicle  ?

@satyarth I don’t think there is any other way. I too just switch off and then start in accessory mode.

I was also facing the same problem but there is an option…in settings u can set radio delay changes..after doing this when u kill the engine the radio will still be ON.

    Thanks alot Gaurav.

It really works. This setting change has resolved the issue.

    Thanks once again.

I know this is an old thread but thought of sharing my workaround to this situation. The workaround I have is for auto transmission models. I can’t really suggest what can be done for manual ones.

I have turned on the “Auto Engine Turn Off” setting. When I stop at the red lights and once the engine is stopped, I change the gear from Drive mode to Park mode quickly. By doing this, I can release my foot from the brakes and the engine remains turned off. Also, this doesn’t turn off the AC fan, Stereo etc…
