The DNCR TrailRaiders’ logo Unveiled...

Ever Since its inception in November, 2017, DNCR TraiRaiders have been using the logo of its parent club “Indian Jeepers” as there were certain delays observed in its own Logo design.

The logo design was shared with some jeepers of DNCR for their recommendations; who in turn came up with some exceptional ideas for it, derived out of sheer enthusiasm. The ideas were so awesome and irresistible, that framing those endless brilliant ideas in a small 100mm circle became more & more difficult and finalizing the logo took much more time than expected.

Continuous follow ups & design meetings with experts and sharing ideas ultimately gave us a rough sketch of what we were looking for. Final crafting, processing and designing of the logo was handled carefully by our Co admins.

The DNCR TrailRaiders’ logo prominently displays the Indian Jeepers sign right in its heart showing its everlasting bonding with it.

The mountains in the middle take cue from the mighty mountainous terrains we have around.

Analog Compass behind the mountains across the horizon are a clear indicator of our intents, our limits and our jeeps. It shows that wherever a Compass works on this planet, we intend to have a trail there.

The tyre treads all across the border depict the all-round, all weather, all terrain capabilities of our jeeps.

The super logo launch event of DNCR TrailRaiders on 12th May, 2019 at the Off Road Adventure Zone (ORAZ) will be witnessed by the highest numbers of jeeps (more than 50 jeeps, 55 jeepers and their families,) making it the biggest single group event throughout the country. It will be second in number after the Karnal trails jointly organised by DNCR TrailRaiders, CHD and FCA, whereby around 64 jeeps participated. Our beloved jeepers have contributed in every possible manner in the endeavour to make this event a success and laying the foundation stone for some of the biggest trails in the coming future.

We are highly thankful to jeepag.com and the associate groups to make the things happen by sharing their ideas and experiences.

We are also thankful to #jeepindia #jeeptrails #jeeplife for giving us a common reason to grow together as a community.

CHD’s (Club Himalayan Devils) 13th celebration Trail.

Original itinerary:

08:00 AM – All meet after PGI barricades. Distribution of chakhna for the trip for each Jeep for the trip.

09:00 AM – Have breakfast at Heritage Haveli.

11:30 AM – Reach Baba Garibnath mandir (The beautiful picnic spot) via Una. The reason why we would take the Una route is because it has less mountains and more plains. It’s a bit longer but faster.

12 to 3 PM – Have a good time… There are multiple off roading places there over the grassland. We can also get into the water but not deep as there are sudden drops. We will have various competitions and games for kids as well as adults. Bring your frisbees and footballs. There is ample space to play there. You can also get in the water there. So do bring slippers.

03:00 PM – Have lunch at Sea Rock Hotel (2 kms from there) followed by Cake cutting and Goodies distribution.

03:45 PM: Start from Sea rock hotel and go towards Bhakra

04:20 PM: Have fresh Bhakra fish fry on the way.

07:30 PM: reach back to Chandigarh

Short and simple.

Bangalore Jeep Club’s Breakfast Trail to Devarayanadurga Hills – Mar 17th, 2019

Bangalore Jeep Club

Myself the JEEP, rolled on wheels first in 1941.  Hope you all know that Go anywhere, Do anything is what people say once they tame me. I played an important role to roll out the soldiers to un-motorable locations during World War II.  There is much more to my stories, but now I would like to highlight something about my community.

Today I am narrating my experience with the most captivating Jeepers from Bangalore Jeep Club.  I have been taken to the extreme possible terrains by these Jeepers and today was a short enchanting drive.

I was lined up with my kith and kin on the NH48 in Bangalore – while the Jeepers greeted each other for the day. We Jeeps were flagged off for a convoy drive on the highway and veered off to SH3 narrower roads.

It was a scenic drive through few villages and most of the by-passers staring at us, without any difficulty we cruised up the peak of mountain for a breathtaking view from the Hills.

We descended the hill at ease and reached a location where our masters planned for their breakfast.  We were parked the way we are meant to be parked on an uneven rough terrain.

I on behalf of my team of Jeeps, admire the punctuality of these Jeepers from BJC – who were on dot of their schedules.

Later we were headed through muddy paths to reach the banks of a small lake.  All of us enjoyed the ride, but were sad to see the lake area contaminated by plastic and abandoned clothes etc.,.

Jeepers manoeuvred us in different ways on the rocks of the small mountain, they patted us by the performance that we delivered.  JeepKids were enjoying in their own world beside us.

I love those Jeepers who might have overheard our cry about the contaminated lake area, it was great that all of them joined hands together to clear up the polluting waste.  We also observed that all the Jeepers were using Bio-hazard / plastic free tools like gloves, pickup tools, aprons etc., to clean up the mess.

Leaving behind a cleaner lake bed, we headed back to the highway after another short off-roading deviation and thus all Jeepers greeting a goodbye to each-other.  Late afternoon I was back to my regular parking lot in my master’s home after a memorable day.

I love my master who takes utmost care of me and at the same time employ me to demonstrate my capabilities.
